Obituary of Alfred C. Taylor

Funeral service for Alfred C. “Mr. T” Taylor, 84 of Talladega will be Friday, November 27, 2015 at 11:00 am at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Glen Horn will officiate and burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. His family will receive friends Friday from 10:00-11:00 and Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mr. Taylor passed away November 24, 2015 at Brookwood Medical Center. He is preceded in death by parents, Mullin and Lucile Taylor, and sister, Laura Jean Taylor. He was a longtime resident of a Talladega, member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he once served as a deacon. He loved his kids and grandkids and loved spending time with his family. Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife of 63 years Lula Mae Taylor, children, Jean Davis (Roger), Wayne Taylor, Sammy Taylor (Donna), grandchildren, Rosemary Atkinson, Jeremy Taylor, Lee Ellen Kimsey, Casey Goldman, Zeb Taylor and Kendyl Taylor, 5 great-grandchildren, brother, Bobby Taylor and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Zeb Taylor, Jeremy Taylor, Michal Goldman, Mike Morrow, Kyle Kimsey, and Johnnie Atkinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Swain and Tim Cooper.
