Obituary of Larry Daniel Reaves, Sr.

Funeral service for Larry Reaves, Sr. of Munford will be Saturday November 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Usrey Chapel. Burial will be in Munford Cemetery. His family will receive friends Saturday from 1-2 pm and Usrey Funeral Home will direct. Mr. Reaves passed away November 8, 2015 at his home. He is preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Mildred Reaves, daughter, Linda Faye Reaves, grandson, Zachary Reaves, 3 brothers. He was a native of Talladega County all his life. He loved gospel music. He was a dairyman most of his life. Larry is survived by his wife of 31 years, Glenda Reaves, sons, Bobby Reaves (Janie), Larry Reaves, Jr., Michael Reaves (Carrie), daughter, Mary Reaves, 9 grandchildren, 3 brothers, Freddie Reaves, David Reaves, and Bubba Reaves and 5 sisters, Elaine George, Darlene Charles, Lura Phillips, Nancy Mitchell and April Anglin, several niece and nephews. Pallbearers will be Willis Mitchell, Donta Jemison, Michael Reaves, Wayne Smith, Josh Reaves, Colby Turner, and Tyreese Jemison. His sons will be honorary pallbearers.
