Obituary of James Edward Casey

Funeral service for James Edward “Fred” Casey, 92, of Talladega will be Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 11:00 am at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Earl Sanders will officiate and burial will be in Concord Cemetery in Clay County. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mr. Casey passed away at his home October 12, 2015. He was a native of Clay County and a longtime resident of Talladega. He was an active member of First Freewill Baptist Church of Talladega. He is survived by wife Joyce Simpson Casey, daughter, Betty C. Keeter, sons, Terry Casey (Molly), Troy Casey (Dale), Tommy Casey, step-daughter, Patricia Bean (James), step-sons, James Patterson (Sarah), Joe Patterson (Onderea Barnes), several grand and great-grandchildren, sisters, Joyce Brewer, Dixie McKinnish, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Joe Patterson, Ryan Floyd, Tom Carden, Billy Beane, Alex Carden, Bobby Sanders, and John Casey.
