Graveside service for William “Bill” Parks, 76, of Alpine will be Sunday October 11, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Alpine Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Brad Mitchell will officiate. His family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 2:00-3:00 pm.
Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct.
Mr. Parks passed away October 9, 2015 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Martha Castleberry Parks; parents, Belton and Iva Parks.
Mr. Parks graduated from Winterboro High School and was retired from CSX Railroad.
“Bill” is survived by his wife Mary Opal Brannon Parks; daughters, Teresa Lataste and husband Terry; Sandy Culver and husband Rodney; son, Karl Parks and wife Sheila; step-daughters, Audra Chambless and husband Mike; Dawn Butler and husband Brett; step-son, Dean Buckner; grandchildren, Craig Culver, Emma Chambless, Pierce Deneke, Callen Butler; great granddaughter, Emalee Culver; sister, Gail Joiner; brother David Parks and wife Vivian.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
