Obituary of Jimmy J. Rollins

Funeral service for Jimmy J. “J.R.” Rollins, 79 of Talladega will be Saturday October 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm. at Central Baptist Church. Rev. Marc Curlee and Dr. Sam Tate will officiate and burial will be in Munford Memorial Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 12 – 2 at the church. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mr. Rollins passed away October 6, 2015 at UAB. He was the Owner and operator of J-R Air Cooled Engine Specialty for 34 years. He served his county in the Alabama Nation Guard. He was a loving and faithful husband, father, grandfather and friend to all he knew. He loved his savior Jesus and was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents, Grady and Myrtle Rollins, brother, Marion Rollins. Survivors include his wife of 38 years Jane Rollins, daughter, Lisa Williams (Neal), son, Jerry Trickett (Gabi), daughter, Pam Norton, son, Jeff Rollins (Sherry), son, John Trickett (Jenny), son, Jamie Rollins (Jodi), grandchildren: Tracy, Amber,Brent, Patrick, Jessica, Hannah, Ben, Katelyn, Ethan, Brittany, Brandy, Josh, Jennifer, and Niki, 3 great-grandchildren, brothers, Waymon Rollins (Rhonda), Charles Rollins (Rosemary), several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be David Shockley, Tony Johns, Ronnie Garrett, John Garrett, Jerome Walters, and Jack Adair. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Royster, Tom Williams, Paul Birchfield, Charles Wood, and Jackie Walton. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be sent to Central Baptist Church P.O.
