A Celebration of Life for John P. Woodward, 65 of Talladega will be Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 at the Whosoever Will Men’s Bible Class. Brother Jim McCain will officiate.
Mr. Woodward passed away at his home on September 25, 2015.
John was a native of South Carolina and a longtime resident of Talladega. He was retired from Eastern Space and Missile Command with NASA Space Program at Cape Canaveral. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Talladega and The Whosoever Will Men’s Bible Class. He attended the University of South Carolina and the University of Alabama. John was a faithful care giver of his mother.
He loved his dog Rocky and cat Sunshine.
He was preceded in death by parents, Emery and Evelyn Griffin Woodward, brother, Emery Blake Woodward Jr.
John is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Debora K. Woodward, brother, Richard G. Woodward (Joyce) of Atlanta, nephews, Tom Woodward (Christina), Jim Woodward (Anne Fair), great-nephews, Matthew, Patrick, Griffin, and Charlie, great-niece, Kate, all of Atlanta, and Debora’s sister, Barbara K. Hull and family, Waco TX,
