Dorothy “Dottie” Smith, 76 of Oxford, passed away at her home on September 22, 2015.
Her family will have a private service at a later time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Jennie Sharp, husband, William Cecil Smith, and 2 brothers.
She was a native of Huntsville and a longtime resident of Oxford.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughters, Sheila Holloway, Wanda Gidmore, Linda Atkisson (Perry), Cecilia Fike (Wayne), sons, Stevie Flippo, Danny Flippo, Ricky Flippo, Michael Brown, 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 1 sister and 1 brother, and special friends, The Bannisters
