Funeral services for Mr. Michael C. “Mike” Oglesby will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 23, 2015 with Dr. Randy Hagan officiating. Burial will follow at Hepzibah Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega.
Mr. Oglesby passed away at his residence Sunday, September 20, 2015. He was a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church where he taught children’s Sunday school class. He was the Owner/Operator of Freedom Living Mobile Homes in Talladega. He and his wife lovingly raised many foster children over their years.
Mike is preceded in death by his wife Joyce Oglesby, son Brad Oglesby, and daughter Heidi Oglesby.
He is survived by sons Billy (Tina) Oglesby, sister Gwen (CJ) Johnson, brothers Ronnie (Barbara) Oglesby, Dwight (Sandy) Oglesby, Travis (Bonnie) Oglesby, grandchildren Koby, Cody, Alex Oglesby, 5 great-granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tom Henderson, Bob Hubbard, Billy Klinner, Beaver Tinsley, Phillip Watts, and Ronald Swain. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Turner and Keith Oglesby.
