Mrs. Mercedes Faith Roy, 82, of Ashville, Alabama passed away on August 12, 2015 in Ashville.
Heaven gained a beautiful angel. She loved God and her family. She was a loving, caring, and wonderful person. We will surely miss her.
Mercedes Roy is survived by her husband, Rev. G.T. Roy; by her four children, Dianna Roy Lacoste, Deborah Roy Lacoste, Drexel Roy, Sr., and Donna Roy Sons; 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandsons.
Graveside Services were held at 10:00 am on Friday August 14, 2015 from St. Clair Memorial Gardens with Rev. Donnie Smith officiating.
Pallbearers were Trevor Lacoste, Tommy Welch, Jr., Steven Gray, Hank McCay, Drexel Roy, Jr., Damian Roy, Dwayne Roy, Drew Roy and Jerry Lacoste, Jr.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Faith Temple Church in Ashville.
