Obituary of James Stanley Lackey

Funeral service for James “Stanley” Lackey, 61 of Talladega will be Wednesday August 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at First Freewill Baptist Church of Talladega. Rev Danny Ryals will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. His family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mr. Lackey passed away at his home July 31, 2015. He was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. He was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Talladega. He loved working on airplane models, oil paints and loved to make people happy. He is preceded in death by parents, James E. and Barbara A. Lackey, daughter, Little Barbara Ann Lackey, brother-in-law, brother, Jesse Keith Lackey. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sheila A. Lackey, son, Brandon Keith (Theresa) Lackey, grandson, Jacob Cade Lackey, sisters, Carolyn (Bobby) Martin, Sheila (Jimmy) Dillingham, Jackie (Daniel) Mitchell, Rita (Jimmy) Chappell, Vickey (Steve) Matthews brother, Frankie (Evonne) Lackey, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews..
