John Clarence Proctor, 72 of Talladega passed away July 26, 2015. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Limbaugh Chapel with The Rev. Donnie Thompson officiating. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home. He was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. Retired from the Anniston Army Depot after 36 years, Member of the National Guard where he proudly served his country. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. He loved his family and his Big Red Truck. He was a giving person and friend. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sarah Ann Proctor, children Patricia Proctor of Talladega, Pam Stephens and husband Greg of Lincoln, John Proctor and his wife Rachel of Lincoln, Connie Pate and husband Anthony of Lincoln, Denise Shivers and husband Greg of Alexander City, Roy Dale Proctor and wife Becky of Lincoln, 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Pallbearers will be Vance Proctor, Tim Turner, Scott James, David Fowler, Don McBurnett, Ray McBurnett, Bobby Brasher, Randy Linn and Honorary Pallbearer Paul Fain.
