Graveside services for Mrs. Minnie L. Mitchell, 95, of Talladega will be at Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11:00 am at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Rev. Kory Burel will officiate. Her family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7 pm and Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct.
Mrs. Mitchell passed away June 23, 2015 at Citizens BMC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Mitchell, Sr., her parents, Arthur and Earlene Patterson, 6 brothers, and 3 sisters.
She was native of Clay County and a longtime resident of Talladega. She retired from Bemis Brothers Bag Co. with more than 40 years of service. She was a member of Bemiston Baptist Church. She loved to fishing, gardening and to daily journal her grateful memories.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her son, Melvin Mitchell, Jr., daughter, Linda Tsighis, son-in-law, James J. Tsighis, Tucson, AZ, grandchildren, Zoee Tsighis of Phoenix AZ, Liberty Tsighis Swan (Michael), Jupiter FL, great-grandson, Bennett Tsighis Swan, sister, Mary Elizabeth Patterson, and several nieces and nephews.
