Obituary of Frank Shaddix

Funeral service for Frank Shaddix, 83, of Talladega will be Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Chapel of Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Dr. Sam Tate will officiate and burial will follow in Pine Hill Memorial Park. His family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-7 PM at Usrey Funeral Home.
Mr. Shaddix went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2014 at Citizens BMC.
He was preceded in death by his parents Will Shaddix and Margie McKay Shaddix, sisters, Eloise Cole of Harriman, TN, Jean Moore of Savannah, GA, brothers, Robert Shaddix and Ed Shaddix both of Talladega.
He is survived by his wife Catherine Williams Shaddix, daughter, Fran Shaddix, son, Greg Shaddix, grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Gracyn Shaddix.
Frank served his country and was a veteran of the Korean War. He owned and operated Shaddix Tile and Cabinet Shop in Talladega for over 50 years.
