Mrs. Jo Hale Phillips, 95, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on June 3, 2015 in Cook Springs.
Mrs. Phillips spent most of her life in Jacksonville, Alabama and had been a resident of Cook Springs for the past 22 years. She was a member of Cook Springs Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. "Dick" Phillips.
She is survived by her Daughter: Maliea (Richard) Box, Sisters: Lois Hale Murray, Peggy Crow (Harold) Young, Twin Brother: Millard (Mickey) Hale, Grandchildren: Nancy (Matthew) Jones, Austin (Yvette) Box, Great-Grandchildren: Ava Marie and Makenzie Katelyn Jones, many loving nieces and nephews, and by her many "adopted" childcare children.
Funeral Services will be 12:00 pm on Monday June 8, 2015 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City with Ministers Drew Kizer and Matthew Jones officiating. Burial will be at St. Clair Memorial Gardens
The family will receive friends Monday from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm at the funeral home .
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alabama Institute for the Blind, Books on Tape Fund, P.O. Box 698, Talladega, Alabama 35161.
