Obituary of Edward A. Smith

Graveside service for Edward A. Smith, of Lincoln, will be Friday June 5, 2015 at 11:00 am at Pine Hill Memorial Park. His family will receive friends Friday from 9:30-10:30 and Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mr. Smith passed away June 3, 2015 at St. Vincent’s East Hospital in Birmingham. He was a native of Calhoun County longtime resident of Lincoln. He is preceded in death by wife Virginia Searcy Smith, and sister, Mavis Smith. He is survived by his son, James “Chip” Smith, sister-in-law, Brenda Hill/Armstrong, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Barney Gary, Robbie Kirk, Eddie Shadrix, Greg Curvin, Taylor Hay and Will Kirk.
