Obituary of Clarence Patterson

Funeral services for Mr. Clarence “T-Tom” Patterson, 48, will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel in Talladega with Pastor Tim Wilson and Rev. Jacky Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Eastaboga Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Mr. Patterson passed away Friday, January 31 2014. “T-Tom” was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega and a member of Hepzibah Baptist Church. He loved Alabama football and all sports and fishing. He is survived by his parents, Betty Gunter and James Gunter, grandmother, Sara Strickland, 3 brothers, Carl Gardner, Frank Gunter, and Dewayne Gunter, 3 sisters, Sarah Gunter, Melissa Torres, and Tammy Williams, and several nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Bennie Strickland and brother, Mark Patterson. Pallbearers will be Carl Gardner, Jr., Jeff Gunter, Alex Gunter, David Lee Dockery, Eric Strickland, William Hyatt, and Adam Higginbothom. Honorary pallbearers will be JT “Uncle Pete” Strickland, Sr., JT “Little Pete” Strickland, Jr., Nicholas Strickland and James Milam. Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega is handling arrangements.
