Funeral services for Janie Comer House, 92 of Lincoln will be Thursday May 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Eastaboga Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Snider will officiate and private burial will be in Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30-2:00 pm at the church and Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct.
Mrs. House passed away May 18, 2015.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Scott House, daughter, Martha Wallace, father; John Comer and mother Nanner Ward, sisters, Ruth Taylor, Mary Comer, and Louise Dulaney.
Mrs. House was a longtime resident of Lincoln, she was a member of Eastaboga Baptist Church and the Sally Ingram Class. She loved to can vegetables and fruits, quilt and sew.
Her survivors include children, Mary Davis (Francis), Scott House, Peggy Williams (David), grandchildren, Gail Wallace, Mike Wallace (Kathryn), Cheryl Heard (Donald), Amy Goray (Robert), David Lynn Williams (Kelly), Scotty Wallace (Deanna), Ben Williams (Becky), Monica Stinnett (Chad), a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, sister, Pauline Ramsey, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, great grandsons and great-great grandsons.
Special thanks to Bill and Linda Hearn of Curry Station Inn and their staff for their special care of our mother.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Eastaboga Baptist Church Building Fund, 107 Church Lane, Eastaboga, AL 36260
