Funeral service for Mae Lewis Vick Watts will be Tuesday, May 5, Usrey Chapel at 2:00pm. Visitation will be Monday, May 4, from 6-8pm at Usrey. Interment will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Rev. Jeff Rutledge and Rev. Gary Plummer will conduct the service. Mrs. Watts, 86, went home to be with the Lord on May 3, 2015 at Noland Hospital in Anniston, Alabama. She was born March 27, 1929. Originally from Harpersville, Alabama, she has lived in Talladega for the last 62 years. She was a member of Ironaton Baptist Church and retired from Talladega County Board of Education. Mrs. Watts is preceded in death by her husband, Windrol. D. Watts, her mother, Christine Vick Gill, sister, Emmie Vick Finch, and brothers, Gordon and Laverne Vick. She is survived by her daughter, Becky Robinson (John), Tishie Pate (Aaron) of Talladega; her brother, Gerald Vick of Harpersville; Grandchildren, Andy Robinson (Mary) of Douglasville, Ga; Samantha Lathem (Jared) of Munford, Emily Milam (Chad) of Mobile, Skylur Setser (Hayden), Haley Nixon (Tim), and Candace Pate (Jeremy) of Talladega; Great-grandchildren: Rylee Lathem, Lexie Pate, Libbi Beckman, and Peyton Nixon; special caregiver, Shirley Haynes. Pallbearers will be: Andy Robinson, Jared Lathem, Chad Milam, Skylur Setser, Tim Nixon, Justin Finch, and Jeremy Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers will be nephews.
