Funeral services for Betty Jo Haley Cooper 71, will be Saturday,August 31 ,2013 at 11:oo A.M. at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel with Ron Hurst ,minister of Talladega Church Of Christ, officiating.The family will receive friends from 9:00-11:00 A.M. prior to the service. Mrs. Cooper passed away on Wednesday,August 28,2013 at Noland Rehab. Facility in Anniston, Al.
She is survived by her Husband of 54 years,Butch Cooper,Daughter,Cheryl Cooper Ford,Son, Tim Cooper(Nancy).Her Grandchildren, are Savannah,Betsy,Drew Cooper,and Tanya Ford.She was preceded in death by her parents: Barney and Jewel Haley.Pallbearers will be,H.W. (Sonny)Bonds,Alton(Snook) Cooper,Donald Cooper,Danny Fuller, Larry Horn,Jay Milam, Ray Milam , and Larry Patterson.
Mrs. Cooper was born on November 10,1941 in Fayette Al. and lived most of her life in Talladega.She was a 1959 graduate of Talladega High School.She was employed by Palm Beach for eleven years and retired from Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind in 1999, after 26 years of service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Talladega Church of Christ or AIDB Foundation in her memory. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega is in charge of services.
