Obituary of Larry Joe McCardle

LARRY JOE McCARDLE, age 63, passed away August 28, 2O13 at his home in Talladega, Alabama. He is survived by daughter, Lesli McCardle East (Tyler), two grandchildren, Calep and Ainsley East. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clarence and Annie McCardle, and brother, Jerry Bruce McCardle (Janice). He was a former member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday School. He and his brother owned and operated Western Auto for several years. He was retired from Advance Auto Parts. He graduated from Talladega High School in 1968 and graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1972, with a B. S. degree. He •was a member of the Talladega Jaycees. He was voted Outstanding Young Man of the Year for Talladega, 1976. He was a charter member of the White Flag Club at the Talladega Superspeedway. Memorial service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church August 31, 2013 at 2:00pm family will receive friends from 1pm until 2pm
