Obituary of Catherine Pitts Horne

Funeral service for Catherine Pitts Horne, 87, of Talladega, will be Thursday at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Rev. Roger Griffith will officiate and burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Clay County. Mrs. Horne passed away August 13, 2013 at Regional Medical Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega and attended Chandler Springs Baptist Church. She retired from Bemis Company and was an avid Gardner. She is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Horne, parents, Berry and Nina Pitts, brother, Fred Pitts, sisters, Sybil McWhorter and Patsy Pitts. Her survivors include her son, Ken Horne (Sandy), daughter, Linda Robinson (Junior), grandchildren, Angela Robinson, Kevin Robinson, Kim Hattabaugh (Rodney), Allen Horne (Ashley), great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Gates, Gage Mullinax, Ryan Horne, Levi Horne, Keerah Parrott, and Don Parrott, siblings, Wayne Pitts, Rev. Thompson Pitts and Wesley Pitts. Pallbearers will be Will Gulledge, Kevin Robinson, Allen Horne, Clifton McWhorter, David Gobel, Raymond Horne and Bennie Horne
