Obituary of Thomas Alpha Hackney

Graveside services for Mr. Thomas Alpha Hackney, age 60, of Lincoln, AL will be 2:30 pm, Sunday, February 2, at Lincoln Cemetery with Rev. J. Stephen Jones officiating. Mr. Hackney passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at his residence. Tommy was a native of Lincoln, AL. He was a longtime member of multiple Rotary Clubs and a graduate of Auburn University and UAB. He created over 10 businesses in the state of Alabama, including his favorite venture, The Foundation for Better Health. He loved working on the farm, traveling, photography, and learning about other people. Tommy was a loving Father, Brother, and Friend. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Margaret Hackney. He is survived by a daughter, Rebekah Hackney Crumpler (Bryan), 3 sons, Michael Thomas Hackney (Whitney), James Gabriel Hackney and Jordan Leigh Hackney, sister, Marguerite Hackney, brother, James Timothy Hackney (Sandra), and his soon-to-be a grandson, Baby Boy Crumpler.
