Graveside service for Loyd Max Barton, 85, of Talladega, will be Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 3:00 PM (EST) at Sunset Memory Gardens in Cartersville, GA. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mr. Barton passed away April 27, 2013 at Golden Living Health Care. Mr. Barton was a native of Georgia and a long time Talladega resident. He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, a US Army Korean Conflict Veteran, and a wonderful pianist who lately entertained the residents of Assisted Living. He is preceded in death by his wife Frances M. Barton and brother, Ellis Barton. His survivors include his children: Joan Dupree (Felton), and Tony Barton, grandchildren: Corey Dupree (Jennifer) and Chad Dupree (Susan), great-grandchildren, Shelby and Justin Dupree, sister: Lois West (Junior) and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Shiloh United Methodist Church, 37 James Street 2, Lincoln, AL 35096.
