Obituary of Elizabeth Richards Campbell

Graveside service for Elizabeth Richards Campbell, 84, of Talladega will be Monday, April 29, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery. Rev. Mike Irons will officiate. Her family will receive friends Monday from 1:00-2:45 PM at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Mrs. Campbell passed away April 27, 2013 at Talladega Health Care. She was a native of Lamar County and a long resident of Talladega. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school with the Friendship Class for a number of years. She was a member of ADK Sority and the Pilot Club. Prior to coming to teach at the Blind School, she taught in the public schools of Alabama. She retired from teaching in 1987. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ellis T. Campbell, daughter, Zelda C. McPherson, grandchildren, Jessica M. Curtis, Natasha M. Curtis, Branden M. Parish, sister, Yvonne Richards, brothers, Leighton Richards, Dan Richards, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.
