Dear Mrs. Ellison, I am so sorry to learn of Mr. Ellison's passing. He was a good and kind man. I first met him a few years ago when my husband and I bought a red truck from him. It was then I told him about my mother, Robineal McEachern Howard, who had lived in Bemiston, on Damon. She had told me that Mr. Ellison had gone to Talladega High School years ago (she graduated from there in 1941). He remembered her and told me that you had lived near her In Bemiston. A few months ago, I was in Talladega and saw Mr. Ellison in his car lot, and stopped to say hello. We had a nice chat about Bemiston and some people I was familiar with from Mother talking about high school days. I am always happy to hear something connecting with my parents and their youth. Mother passed away in 2001. I am praying for you and your sweet family and pray that God will wrap His arms around you, givng you comfort. Heaven is a sweeter place with Mr. Ellison there, and we will all meet again some sweet day. I know he will be missed by many, and he will be missed by me, too. Love, Mary Lee
