Obituary of Bobby Ray Jones

Service for Bobby Ray Jones, 74, of Talladega, will be Sunday, April 21, 2013, at 4:00 PM from the Chapel of Usrey Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Hester will officiate and burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. His family will receive friends Saturday from 5-7 PM at funeral home. Mr. Jones passed away at his home April 19, 2013. Mr. Jones was a native and long time resident of Talladega. He retired from Georgia Pacific with 23 years of service. He was a member of Harvestfield Church of Chandler Springs, loved working on lawnmowers, gardening, NASCAR and an avid Alabama Fan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alec and Ailene Jones, and sister, Faye Robinson. His survivors include, wife of 38 years, Mary Jones, children: Robin Reid (Jack), Angie Lambert (Shayne), Tommy Bullard (Sonya), Terry Bullard (Leona), Chris Bullard (Daphne), Scott Bullard, sister, Pat Medley, Sandra Brantley, brother, Gerald Allen (Gina), grandchildren: Lacey Boggs, Brian Reid, Alex Galvanauskas, Sarah Tanner, Zach Lambert, Jimmy Sexton, JR Sexton, Jason Jones, Justin Bullard, Brittney Horton, Josh Horton, Tiffany Bullard, Kristen Bullard, and Michael Crosby, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Terry, Scotty and Chris Bullard, Alton and Rodney Cheeks, and Bruce Cardwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Bullard and Gerald Allen.
