Mr. Gurley was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. He worked for many years in the construction industry.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Joyce Gurley, daughter, Regina Gurley, son, Bryan Gurley, Granddaughter, Lacey Bowman, Grandson, Trenten Sims, great-grandson, Tallen Wade, sister, Judy Gurley, brother, Kenneth Gurley (Jamie), and a host of nieces and nephews who he treated as his own children.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Jewel Gurley.
