He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Annie Mae Thomas, son, James Jimmy Edmond Thomas and wife Susie, daughter Kimbra Annette Dagle, grandchildren, Tracy Shirey, Jennifer Petrosky, Amanda Hannah, Jesse Thomas, Ginny Lyn Dagle, Cathryn Thomas, Ann Marie Gindle, Seth Thomas, great-grandchildren, Breanna Petrosky, Ethan Blankenship, Aiden Blankenship, Ashley Petrosky, Brody Hannah and Brayden GindlePallbearers will be Johnny and Shane Stoudenmire, Seth and Jesse Thomas, Martin Petrosky, and Adam Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Joby Hannah, Eric McDonald and Jason Daniels.
Mr. Thomas was a native of Talladega County. He served his county in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1953-1957. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church for 25 years as the music assistant. He retired from Crown Textile with 30 years of service as a loom technician.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Jake and Mary Louise Thomas, son, William Joseph Thomas.Rev. Danny Cotton will officiate .
