L. Ronnie Busby, age 69, passed away on February 2, 2013 at the age of 69.
Ronnie is predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Tommie Busby, and his brother Michael Busby.
Ronnie is survived by his wife Kay of 43 years; daughter Meredith Lewis (Ashton) and grandson Will Lewis of Smithfield, VA; sister-in law Lila Busby and niece Emily Busby of Pelham, AL. He also leaves behind many loving friends and relatives.
Ronnie was born in Jasper, Alabama. He graduated from Childersburg High School in 1961 and went on to earn a degree from Jacksonville State University. He served two years active service in the U.S. Army. He worked in banking for 37 years.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on February 5, 2013 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on February 4, 2013 at Usrey Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at Oak Hill Cemetery.
