Funeral service for Joyce Tucker Waters, 87, of Munford will be Wednesday at 2 PM at Munford Baptist Church. Rev. Tim Thomas and Rev. Mike Forman will officiate and burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-7 PM at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Joyce went to her heavenly home on Sunday, January 27, 2013. Funeral service will be Mrs. Waters was born and raised in Fayetteville, TN., then moved to Alabama after marring her husband Gene Waters. She was employed at Anniston Army Depot over 30 years, a member of Munford Baptist Church over 60 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Franklin Eugene “Gene” Waters and her great-grandson Aston Stephens. She is survived by her sons, Bobby Waters (Nancy), Mike Waters (Susan) of Munford, granddaughters, Angela (J) Stephenson, Amanda (Labron) Rigstad, Monica (Brian) Burgdoerfer, Carrie Waters of Munford, grandson, Jeff (Tina) Waters of Helena and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jeff Waters, J Stephenson, Labron Rigstad, Milton Cochran, Ricky Sellers, and John Trickett. Honorary pallbearers will be Barnaba Ministries and Joyful Hearts.
