Graveside services for Dale Hughes, 63, of Munford, will be Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 2 PM at Salt Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Curtis Collett will officiate. His family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 PM at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega and Thursday from 1-2 PM at Salt Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Hughes passed away January 21, 2013 at Regional Medical Center. Mr. Hughes was a native and life long resident of Munford. He was a member of Jennifer Baptist Church and an avid participant of short track racing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harlin and Elizabeth Hughes and sister Faye Deese. Dale is survived by is daughter, Shelia Smith (Brad), grandchildren, Ashleigh Crim and Dillon Crim, sisters, Jackie Birdsall (Buddy), Deanna Clarkson (Charlie), brothers, Donald Hughes (Marion), Roger Hughes (Jeri) Jeff Hughes (Wendy) and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jeremy, Jonathan, and T.J. Hughes, Tom Murphy, Kolby Ingram, Bryan Deese and Dana Deese. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Hughes and Earl Barker.
