Funeral service for Sara Gatlin, 90, of Munford, will be Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 1 PM at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Garry Wyatt and Rev. Jimmy Minter will officiate and burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends Wednesday from 12 -1 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Gatlin passed away January 7, 2013. She was a native and life long resident of Talladega County. She was retired from Brecon Mills and a life long resident of Oak Grove Baptist Church of Munford. She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Fowler Gatlin. She is survived by her grandson Benjamin Gatlin, nieces, Charlotte Haynes (Bill), Jerry Hester, Nancy Fuller and Joyce Holland. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Gatlin, William Haynes, Jr., Doug Nixon, Joel Stephens, and Jeff Taylor Gene Blankenship. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Camp, Greg McInnish and the men of oak Grove Baptist Church.
