Memorial service for Dorothy “Dot” Mae Seritt Rawson, 83, of Birmingham, will be Friday, December 21, 2012 at 6 PM in the parlor of Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Her family will receive friends Friday from 5-6 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Rawson passed away December 17, 2012 in Talladega. She was a native of Jefferson County. She was the former owner and operator of Ray’s Quick Stop in Birmingham and was a protestant by faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ray Rawson, daughter, Elizabeth Ann Rawson, sons, Robert E. Rawson and William “Billy” Leonard Lewis. Her survivors include her son, Billy Rawson (Joyce), grandchildren, Robert Rawson, Melissa Bell, Craig Rawson, Bill Rawson Jr., Nicholas Rawson, William Lewis, Bill Lewis, Robert Lewis and BL Lewis, daughter-in-law, Darlene Lewis, and several nieces and nephews.
