Obituary of Jimmy Ray Jordan

Funeral service for Jimmy Ray Jordan, 74, of Talladega, will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny Jones will officiate and burial will be in Midway Memory Gardens. His family will receive friend Wednesday from 11:00 1:00 PM at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega.
Mr. Jordan passed away December 16, 2012 at Talladega Health and Rehab.
Mr. Jordan attended Alabama School for the Blind for 12 years. He then worked for AIDB for 37 years. He was a member of the Talladega Lions Club of A.C.B. and was a member of Clare Purcell Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Ruby Jordan, sisters, Sarah Williams and Billie Phillips and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Frankie Atchley, Scott Adams, Rusty Isbell, Pete Phillips, Steve Phillips, and Willie Ousley. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Hendrix, Roy Granger, Wendall McMicken, Robert Brewer, Darrin Isbell, Steve Reeves, Larry Barton, Larry Batson, and James Holdridge.
