Obituary of Timothy Oglesby

Funeral service for Timothy “Brad” Oglesby, 36, of Munford, will be Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Hephzibah Baptist Church. He will lie in state at church from 1-2 PM Wednesday. Rev. Randy Hagen and Rev. Keith Wrenn will officiate and burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. His family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Brad passed away December 15, 2012. He was a native of Talladega County and a graduate of Munford High School, Class of ’95. He attended CACC where he received his HAZMAT Schooling and Ft. McClellan where he received his training. He was employed with Freedom Living. He was an avid Alabama Fan. Brad was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He loved working with his hands, and riding dirt bikes with his boys. He is survived by his wife, Leah Oglesby, children, Eli and Briar Oglesby, parents, Mike and Joyce Oglesby, brothers, Billy Oglesby (Tina), Kenny Hughes, grandmother, Mildred Gallahir, brother-in-laws, Daniel Curry (Heather), and Gabriel Phillips, mother and father-in-law, Lauretta Phillips and Lonnie Reeves, and several nieces and nephews. Brad is preceded in death by his sisters, Heidi Oglesby, Tabitha Phillips, brother, Jonathan Denton grandfathers, Billy Dorsett and Thomas Gallahir, grandparents, George and Bessie Oglesby, and father-in-law, Tracy Phillips. Pallbearers will be Michael Holt, Jamin Hoover, John McClellan, Dave Beard, John Huddleston, and Daniel Curry. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Haynes, Ken Chappell, Gabriel Phillips, Chris Dall and Cody Huddleston.
