She was born on January 23, 1937 to Benjamin Bert and Jeanette Phillips Cash. She was a proud graduate of Ashville High School Class of 1955 and always looked forward to their reunions. She was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church and the St. Clair County Farmer's Federation Women's Division. She was also formerly employed at Ashville Savings Bank and at Citizen's Bank of Leeds. Annette enjoyed gardening and cooking for family and friends.
