Obituary of Helen R. Herd

Funeral service for Helen Roberson Herd, 87, of Eastaboga, will be Tuesday at 2 PM at Eastaboga Baptist Church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. John Childs will officiate and Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Her family will receive friends at the church Tuesday from 1-2 PM. She passed away at her home on November 10, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents: Luther and Emma Roberson, daughters, Martha Williams and Joyce Williams Rivers, and brother, Homer Roberson. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Williams, son, Joseph K. Herd (Beverly Holloway), daughter-in-law, Pam Horn Herd, brother, Howard Roberson (Frances), granddaughter, Nikki Herd (Zach Graham), grandson, Blake Herd, great-grandson, Colby Herd and a host of relatives and friends. Helen was retired from ATAP after 26 years of service, a lifetime member of Eastaboga Baptist Church, and an avid Auburn Fan.
