Obituary of Sara T. Hardy

She is survived by her daughter Pamela H. Daniels (Roy), son Andrew Jackson Hardy (Leigh); 3 grandsons, William MacDonald Pruitt, Robert Andrew Clevenger, Taylor James Jackson Hardy; and Great granddaughter Brooklyn Victoria Pruitt (Tori). She is also survived by 4 brothers, Dewy Raymond Taylor of Anniston, Tommy Taylor of Osteen FL, Nick Taylor of Tampa, FL, Billy Taylor of Madison, FL and 2 sisters.She is preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Crews of Baton Rouge, and Hilda Fairbanks of Tampa.Sara Helen Taylor HARDY age 92, passed away Thursday, November 8 in Auburn, AL She lived with her son and daughter-in law in Opelika. She was born in Lincoln in 1920. She was preceded in death by her husband Jackson Hardy. She was the oldest of 9 children. Sara graduated from Lincoln High school and attended Citizens Hospital School of Nursing where she obtained her RN. She worked as Operating Room supervisor until 1959, when she attended anesthesia school at the University of Alabama Medical School in Birmingham. After retiring from the operating room where she gave anesthesia, she worked as the School nurse at Munford Special Ed. Member of First Baptist Church of Opelika. Dr. Roy Daniels will be officiating the service.
