Obituary of Patricia Ann Williams

Funeral service for Patricia Ann Williams, 58, of Ashland, will be Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM at The Talladega Church of Christ. She will lie-in-state from 1-2 pm. Ron Hurst will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 am till 8:00 pm. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mrs. Williams passed away January 5, 2014 at her home. She was a native and longtime resident of Talladega. She was a member of The Talladega Church of Christ. She loved her job and all her co-workers at NSE. She is preceded in death by her parents, Van Buren and Ethel Shirey, brother, Ray Shirey, sisters, Euna Shirey and Ruby Green. She is survived by her husband, Cecil Williams, daughter, Shannon Blankenship, son, Shaun Williams, grandchildren, Micah Blankenship, Jacob Blankenship, and Jeremiah Williams, sisters, Mavis Mitchell, Aleen Grimes, brothers, Lewell Shirey, Ben Shirey and Virgil Shirey along with numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Brian Shirey, Robert “Peanut” Green, Oliver Shirey, Nick Haney, A.J. Fain, Brain Wood, Clint Williams and Jeff Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Castleberry, Danny Haney, Jeff Collins and Duane Butterworth.
