Obituary of Betty Durrett Jinks

Mrs. Jinks was born on February 23, 1931 in Arcadia LA. She past on October 22, 2012 at her residence. Her husband Crawford Colvin Jinks preceded her in death and parents Benjamin and Lois Durrett. Mrs. Jinks was a member of Craig United Methodist Church in Eastaboga where she lived for many years until moving to Indian Springs in 1994. She is survived by one sister Margaret D. Smith (Paul) of The Woodlands TX. One son Michael C. Jinks (Helen) of Greenville SC. One daughter, Karen J. Phillips (Larry) of Lincoln, AL, Four grandchildren; Mary Margaret Shepherd (Russell), Scott Stearns Jinks, Jody Phillips and Meaghan Phillips; Three great-grandchildren; Tucker Shepherd, Sawyer Shepherd and Wyatt Phillips. Two nieces Ginger Yeakley (David) and Lory Margraves (Scott) both of TX. Mrs. Jinks was loved and will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Craig United Methodist Church in Eastaboga. Services facilitated by Usrey Funeral Home Talladega.
