Obituary of Evelyn Ruby Nunn Stewart

Funeral service for Evelyn Ruby Nunn Stewart, 89, of Talladega, will be Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 2 PM at the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Rev. Harvey Bowlin will officiate and burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-2 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Stewart Passed away October 21, 2012 at The Village at Cooks Springs. She was a native of Clay County and a resident of Talladega since 1929. She was a former member of Talladega Creek Baptist Church and a current member of Bemiston United Methodist Church. She was retired from Wehadkee Yarn Mills. Mrs. Stewart is preceded in death by her husband John Wesley Stewart, Jr. She is survived by her children: Barbara Willingham (Jay), Brenda Burdette (Charlie), John Douglas Stewart (Ba), Rev. Raymond Stewart (Judy), 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren, sister: Annie Pearl Horn, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
