He is survived by his daughters: Valerie Burrage (Eric) and Jacqueline Gaines (Shaw), both of Talladega; grandchildren: Hamilton Gaines, Madison Gaines, and Landon Burrage, brother, James D. Ford (Mary), nieces, Kim Gordon, Zim Overstreet (Jay), Sherry Jean Mullinax, Debbie Anderson, Frankie Ann Graham and Jan Atchey, nephews, John F. Ford (Carol), Timothy Ford (Pam), John (Wylene) Ford, along with several great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Naomi Ford, brothers: Bobby Ford, John D. Ford, Frank Ford, Jr., and Leslie Hayes, sisters: Sara Ford, Mildred Ford and Fredricka Ford.
Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Wesley and friends at the Mabry Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Trinity United Methodist Church, Attention Childrens Ministry or Boy Scout Troop #130.
