Obituary of Helen Hudson Horne

Helen Hudson Horne, Born January 17, 1928 went home to be with her Lord and Savior October 18 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years William H. ‘’Bill” Horne, Her parents John and Nonnie Hudson, Sisters Sarah Danner and Betty Gay. She is survived By Nine children, Paul ( Janet ) Horne, Alex Horne of Birmingham, Alicia (Terry ) Dunn of Gadsden, Philip ( Anna ) Horne of Anniston, Jeff Horne, Maria ( Bruce ) Strickland, Melinda Champion, Michele ( Jeff ) Warren all of Talladega. And Cindy (Mark) Bakane of Seagrove Beach, Fl. 12 Grandchildren and 2 Great grand children, Sister Johnnie Parker of Dadeville, Al. and Her beloved sisters-in-laws. She was much loved by her 2 daughter-in-laws. Helen was a native of Pyriton, Clay County, AL. She graduated from Lineville High school in 1946. She was baptized at the age of 17 at Mineral Springs Methodist Church. After her marriage she attended Clairmont Springs Baptist church for many years. She was a devote wife, mother, Grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed, but the family rest in the knowledge that she is now at peace with the lord. The Rev Kevin Jones will officiate. Pallbearers will be Paul Horne Jr., Chris Horn, Wes Bakane, Josh Warren, David Danner and Mike Parker.
