Mary M. Hill, age 87, of Anniston, formerly of Selma, passed away September 28, after an extended illness. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. Hill, Sr., and her parents Fred & Luta Morrow. Left to cherish her precious memory are her children, Trull (Margaret) Hill, Jr., Sarah (Dan) Marchioni, Faye (Alex) Archibald, Jr., Zula (Jimmy) Saint, and Norma (Benny) Rippetoe. She is also survived by five grandsons, six granddaughters, and thirteen great-grandchildren. We, her children and their children have lost not only our precious Mother and Mamaw, but our best friend. Her love for each of us taught us to be always caring of others and living by God’s Word. She will be missed greatly and her memory will live forever in our hearts. We wish to thank her special friends, Betty Easterwood and Bobby & Janet Williams for their special love and friendship, plus the staff at NHC, Special Needs Unit, Anniston, for their professional care and compassion shown in our Mother’s final hours. Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, October 4 at First Baptist Church, Weaver, with visitation one hour prior to the services. Graveside services will be held at Pineview Memory Gardens in Selma at 3:30 PM. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
