Funeral service for Sarah W. “Polly” Adams, 85, of Talladega, will be Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 2 PM at Munford Baptist Church. Brother Tim Thomas and Brother Gary Plummer will officiate and burial will be in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Usrey Funeral Home. Mrs. Adams passed away September 23, 2012 at Citizens Hospital. “Polly” was a native and life long resident of Talladega. She was a member of Munford Baptist Church and the Joyful Hearts Sunday School Class. She loved gardening and raising grandkids. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis D. Adams and daughter, Edith A. Bonner. Sheis survived by her daughter, Barbara Fisackerly (Glenn) of Talladega, son-in-law, Charles Bonner of Munford, grandchildren, Bethany Dodson (Dwight) of Pell City, Jeff Bonner (Lisa) of Talladega and Greg Bonner of Munford, great-grandchildren, Joe and Abbey Dial of Pell City, Shelby Hendon, Brantley Bonner of Talladega, and Gracelyn and Joshua Dodson, Huntland, TN, sister-in-law, Mae Lewis Watts of Talladega, a host of beloved nieces and nephews and care giver, Melissa Strickland. Pallbearers will be Jeff Bonner, Greg Bonner, Dwight Dodson, Mike “Jack” Watts, Jeremy Watts, Andy Robinson, Kevin Champion and Aaron Pate. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Munford Baptist Church.
