Obituary of Rubia Lee Bean

Rubia Lee Bean, age 82, of Alpine, formerly of Bemiston, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2010. She enjoyed many hobbies such as flower gardening, quilting, coin collecting, and helping all those in need. Miss Bean gave her life to the Lord at an early age and was a member of Bemiston Baptist Church. She was retired from Crown Textiles after more than twenty years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson J. and Elizabeth H. Bean of Wedowee; sisters, Mavis Bean Upham of Wedowee, Alice Bean Johns of Talladega, Jessie Bean Gabriel of Wedowee; brother, Wilson J. Bean, Jr. of Flint, MI. She is survived by her nephew and his wife, Scott and Nikki Johns and their children, which she resided with in Alpine; numerous nieces and nephews.
