Obituary of Mildred H. Day

Mrs. Mildred H. Day, 91, passed away Jan. 1, 2014. Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at Pine Hill memorial Park with Pastor Jim Wright officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Usrey Funeral Home. Mrs. Day was a native of Cleburne County and lived most of her life in Talladega. She was a graduate of Anniston Business College and Southeastern School of Floral Design and was retired from Suburban Gas Inc. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a member of Talladega Business and Professional Women’s Club for 30 years where she was voted as Woman of The Year in 1981 and 1982. She is preceded in death by her son, Larry Day and her husband, Johnny R. Day. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Business and Professional Women’s Club and members of Tuesday and Wednesday Night Bridge Club.
