Mrs. McDonald was a native of St. Clair County and a resident of Heflin for 10 years and a long time resident of Talladega. Mrs. McDonald loved her quilting. She is preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Virginia Langley, husbands: William “Bill” Gannon and Macon McDonald, daughter: Susan Howell, grandsons: Billy Langley, Chris Howell and Steve Phillips, great grandson: Seth Marques, great-great grandson: Matthew Phillips, brothers: Horace, Clarence, Thomas, Newt, Lawrence and Lewis Langley, son-in-laws: Joby Fuller and Thomas “Sonny” Gannon and daughter-in-law: Teresa Langley. Her survivors include her daughters: Mary Pierce (Freddie) of Munford, Lessie Gannon and Kathy Bowen (Randy) of Calhoun, GA, sons: Buddy Langley (Vickey) of Lincoln, Jimmy Langley (Cookie) of Coco FL, sisters, Inez Chambliss and Bernice Cook of Heflin, AL, 31 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ralph Langley, Donald Langley, Bobby Langley, Larry Langley, Wayne Salers and Roland Cottle.
