Mr. Nixon was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County. He was a member of Stemley Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge #261. He was retired from The Daily Home and was a retired carpenter. Mr. Nixon is survived by his wife, Johnnie Mann Nixon, daughter, Barbara (Billy) Wilson, daughter, Angela (Jay) Willingham, son, Wayne (Belinda) Nixon, son, Michael (Julia) Nixon, son, Mickey (Robbyn) Moncus, sister, Mary N. (Tommy) Adair, sister, Patricia (Jerry) Parker, brother, James D. (Elaine) Nixon, sister-in-law, Paulette Nixon, 9 grandchildren, Alisa Wilson Foley, Michele Wilson Alldredge, Gerrad Wilson, Tim Nixon, , Amy Nixon Johnson, Lesli Willingham, Tyler Willingham, Ryan A. Moncus, Emily G. Moncus, 10 Great Grandaughters: Josepine Foley, Mary Lois Foley, Lee Foley, Ruby Foley, Chase Aldredge, Heath Aldredge, Piper Wilson, Peyton Nixon, Chelsey Johnson, and Carly Johnson Preceded by: daughter, Patricia Diane Nixon, Son, Paul David Nixon, and brother, William "Buck" Nixon Pallbearers: Doug Nixon, Scott Armbrester, Justin Finch, Mark Wood, Leslie Henry, Mike Porter Honorary Pallbearers: Buddy Turner, Jimmy Turner, David Horn, Steven Horn, Jimmy Cottle, Stanley Armbrester, Kenneth Armbrester Rev.
