She is preceded in death by her husband Hulon Phillips of 52 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Wesley (Craig), Kathryn Wallace (Jock), Martha Rothchild (Ty), son, Hulon Scott Phillips (Karen), sister, Mary Benefield, brothers, Kenneth Laverty, John Laverty, and Charles Laverty, grandchildren, Phillip and Eric Wesley, Jay Wallace (Amanda), David Wallace, Candace Warren (Tim), Hulon Scott Phillips, Jr., Gracie and Abby Phillips and Brennan Rothchild, 6 great-grandchildren.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Phillips passed away December 25, 2013 at Citizens BMC.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega and a member of Northside Baptist Church. She was a volunteer at Citizens BMC for many years.
Dr. Sam Tate officiated.
